🪸 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Fault Codes

All was well for a while then the P0440 code came back ( Without the gas cap being touched or gasoline added), this of course disabled remote start and auto stop-start. Today went back out to the car and read the codes. It says there are 3 codes. 1. P0440 pending, P0440 in memory, and P0440 Permanent. symon. You need to get the codes read, could be something like the MAF or a Multiair issue. I don't think a gear position switch fault would cause a missfire. They may have put the wrong oil in it. I just hooked my 17 Giulia uo to my new Launch 129E code reader and ran a diagnostic check and it found 20 fault codes, but I have no check engine light on. Any ideas on why I would have all these codes and no check engine light?

TCT Transmission Gearbox problems : battery condition. check the fluid level in the reservoir. voltage regulator damaged (SDU) check connections under battery tray. faulty hydraulic electric pump. faulty odd clutch position sensor. negative earth straps from the battery to chassis to engine block corroded.

Giulietta engine management light. I'm hoping someone can help me out. My engine management light has been on for awhile now, I believed it to be the gear select sensor and just haven't had chance to fix this. But now my car is going into limp mode, I took it to a garage and they have said that it's the gear selector sensor and the DNA switch
repeat the above proceedure and replace the boot lining. reconnect the battery (you do have the radio code don't you!) and start your car, the light should now be extinguished. Some older models (pre-2004) may require the code to erased/reset, this can be done with Multiecuscan/alfadiag and the correct interface.
#2 · Jul 12, 2016 I can't help with the starting problem. This Alfa BB is based in the US and Canada. The Giulietta 940 are not sold in either country. Take your problem to The site for Alfa Romeo Owners, its based in UK and you can get help there. Lots of Giuliettas in Europe. The car drives JUST FINE! No flat spots, no bad consumption, no discernable change at all. 5. Car passed an MOT so no bad emissions problem either. Got my own code reader and I've found P1175 (Cam control fault/mixture 2 strength) and P1172 (Rotor control fault/mixture 1 strength) which appear to be fuel/air related. ETC. The Alfa Romeo Giulia red lightening / electricity symbol indicates a fault with the Electronic Throttle Control (ETC). The warning light may either illuminate constantly or flash. Illuminates constantly: Place the gear selector in the P (Park) position and switch the ignition to the OFF position.

Can someone helpmy 1.6 jtdm giulietta is displaying Check engine and VDC lights on at the same time with message: check engine + start stop unavailble. It started last week, run to the local mechanic that did a diagnostic and concluded the car needed a regen. Left the car with the mechanic (charged £80) and lights went off.
